Hey All

I’ve been home for about an hr so just thought I’d come and let you know. It was supposed to be tomorrow but I was feeling and doing fine & D is too, so my Obst said today could be arranged 

A few ppl have asked about his name, so I will quickly let you know where that came from…

Darcy – well, for a couple of reasons. 1. I liked the name. 2. I had not taught any awful Darcys (lol!). 3. We both have a fondness for French names, and this is originally French origin, D’Arcy, meaning “from Arcy, France” (which is a place in the Bergundy region of France). 4. More recently, it’s been linked to Mr Darcy from P&P and Mark Darcy from Bridget Jones, in which both characters are lovely gentlemen, so I liked that connotation. 5. We wanted something that was different enough, but not too weird or ‘out there’..

As for Tate… chosen for its meaning, “He who brings happiness”. After what we went thru to become a family, I don’t think that one needs any further explanation 

I’m off to attend to D and unpack a bit, so I will check in next when I can.
