I’ve been surfing the net, looking into some of the literature about bottle feeding your baby.

There is some very dubious information out there, and this is a classic.

The author, the impressive sounding ‘Dr Linda Folden Palmer’ is infact not a medical doctor but a ‘Doctor of Chiropractic’, and her paper has an impressive list of references (none of which are tied to specific details of her document).  

 One of these references is from the British Medical Journal - except its a complete odds with her aggressive conclusion.  She claims bottle feeding greatly increases SIDS, the BMJ disagrees This underlines the single truth of the Internet; check your sources!
