So, I sit here on my couch watching rock stars on their electric instruments in front of a large plasma screens implore a bunch of kids around the world watching on their subscription television equipment to ‘Go Green’
I’m almost choking on the irony - if the music industry really wants to go green it can start with every musician taking their CD’s off shelves, canceling their contracts and staying home. No one will starve if the music industry went away, no one will die, sure, there will be a sudden loss of readily available culture, but we’re talking about the future of the planet, somebody has do the hard yards.
Or they can admit the truth, that they are as willing to go green as much as the rest of us - that is, as long as it doesn’t materially affect their life or livelihood.
