Any set of characters

Well, its not so much ‘nesting a controller’ as giving the impression of nested controllers! Any way, here it is: Nesting Controllers with ruby on rails

So, I’m on annual leave, and between painting the house and…. well… other stuff I’m learning RubyOnRails

And what a revelation its been.

As a PHP & Java/Struts/Hibernate kinda guy, working with RubyOnRails is like slipping into a pair of pants that fit, its just so….. comfortable.

I’ve had two struggles:

1. Their text editor that ships with it is …. well… a little on the average side.
2. I can’t really get a handle on their documentation.   Javadoc on Sun’s site was fairly instinctive, but the ruby versions seem a little harder to grasp.

I think my confusion lies in that I’m still a little muddled between what is Ruby and which bits are Rails.

No doubt it will all become clearer sooner or later.

I’m tossing up if I should write an article on my learnings, but I’m not certain just yet…  I’m likely to loose interest 1/2 way through writing it!
