Windows Vista - Beta something or other…
Vista: A distant view or prospect,
At this point, for MS its still distant prospect (2007?), for me, its starting to feel the same.
You see my companies ‘other half’ - the folks over in NZ are a big bunch of Microsofties and we are the Unix geeks, but today they sent over the golden prize - [...]

Who you gonna call?
Those wacky guys at Mozilla are at it again.
I found this whilst snoopingwith the firefox web developer extension and firefox’s ‘can’t find the server you are looking for’ error message screen:
xul:button xmlns:xul=”http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul” id=”errorTryAgain” label=”Try Again” oncommand=”retryThis();”/
Spot the Ghostbusters reference?
It gets better, if you visit the link
Wordpress’s rich text editor must die!

Good god.
There is a guy on TV at the moment who weighs 345 kilos (759 lbs).
Its hard to feel sympathy for a guy who hasn’t walked in 7 years and yets sits in front of salad refusing to eat it and demanding a hamburger and soda…
After a bit of googling, it seems he died:

Apple Support SUCKS.
sigh
Belinda’s second ibook, which she received after the first one died in the first week of ownership has been running fine, but I’ve been meaning to transfer her applecare from one ibook to the other.
What a challenge.
Because its now 3 days and 1 year since the laptop was purchased, apple ‘procedure’ insists that the proof [...]

PostSecret…
This is a very popular site/blog, where you can send a postcard with your darkest secret to a guy who’ll put it on the internet.
Whilst its a great idea, with a good purpose (it support suicide prevention), I really do wonder how so many people with the most perverse secrets seem to be artistically talented?!
I [...]

Oh no! The American Family Association thinks ‘hell’ is a bad word
Here we go, another beat up on the ‘where the bloody hell are you?’ ad.
They fail to mention that these lunatics also want to boycott Ford for supporting homosexuals. They also seem concerned that Australia may become a muslim nation.
Obviously they care about families, just not brown or non-christian ones

Google lawsuit about search results.
I blogged about this a few months back I think…
Its a bit hopeful, how can a search engines result ranking be considered ‘Free Speech’?
Oh well, if they are successful…. god help Google!

More of Lara/Where the bloody hell are you?
Seems they are sending the lovely Lara to the UK to sweet talk the people who have banned the ad on TV
The strange quote is:
“It seems a little bit silly,” Mrs Bingle said. “I’m sure that once they see Lara, it will be fine.”
Note the wording, its see Lara, not meet Lara or talk to [...]
