IBM has just won a 495 million dollar project to ‘do stuff’ to integrate everything.
Other members of the tender include Siebel, Tibco and Microsoft.
So, with all that money, and all those major vendors - this project should wind up in the paper a year or so from now when it is over budget, over schedule and on the brink of failure…

So, it’s a boy - with all the right bones, organs and chambers of the heart, all doing about what they should be doing at this point (18 Weeks) and all the right size.
The side on pic shows a chin like mine, it will be interesting to know if thats the way he turns out
Anyway, we are chuffed. Was initially hoping for a girl (just to break the cycle, this will be the third generation straight of males on my side of the family) - but knowing the sex really does help in imagining the reality of being a parent at this point in a pregnancy (since at this stage, he is still only a firmer slightly raised lump!)
Due November 16 (or 19, or 22, depending on which ultrasound/test you believe). So in true software terms, we’ll say ‘mid to late November’.
I will however be not annoucing the birth as a ‘release’.
