Well, its the end of season 2 of Sea Patrol.
What a total load of utter drivel. Never has so much money been spent on such a weakly scripted, poorly acted pile of tripe. It has pretensions for something greater, it has extensive support from the Australian Navy, it has, on paper, a good cast - and yet its like watching Home and Away with Navy uniforms.
No, actually, its worse. Home and Away is actually better - and I can tell that just from the ads.
My suggestion for season 3. Give up!
My god.
What a shambles.
It seems relatively compatible with MS Office for Windows (excluding the omission of VBA) but the user interface looks like the freakish offspring of Office 2007 and Pages.
It wants to be Office 2007 - actually, it looks like somebody made them make it look like Office 2007 about 3/4 through the project and they tried something with no idea of how to do it in OS X (Or maybe, something that just isn’t possible).
Then there is the whole ‘make me compatible’ saving thing - its like they got their bug list back from testing and instead of fixing the problems, they just coded this bizarre save dialog full of cautionary warnings.
I think Pages has a better UI - but sadly I need the MS Office compatibility - Pages just doesn’t cut it.
